SRMG Academy launched in August a months-long series of online workshops for Arab News staff. The training covers a wide range of topics from digital storytelling and content creation to mobile journalism, business news and writing features and reviews. The series runs almost daily till December with all Academy trainers holding several workshops. Meanwhile, Academy trainers Fadhil Al-Fadhli and Maher Chmaytelli held onsite workshops for Al Eqtisadiah’s teams on working with design and AI tools. Chmaytelli also led basic business news training for teams from Al Eqtisadiah and Asharq.
